You’ll continue to enjoy the same great retirement plan benefits, with the addition of new tools and resources to help you plan for the life you want in retirement.

Over the coming weeks, we will be working closely with a dedicated transition team from Principal to ensure a smooth and seamless transition. Below are the key dates and details you’ll need to know.

Key Dates

December 1, 2025
Last day to make changes to your investment election, request investment transfers, plan loans (if available), withdrawals or distributions with Transamerica.

December 2, 2025 – Week of December 28, 2025*
Blackout period while retirement funds transition from Transamerica to Principal. During this time, you’ll be temporarily unable to make changes or access your account.

December 9, 2025
Estimated date funds transfer to Principal.

Note: This completion date may vary depending on the accurate and timely transfer of data between Transamerica and Principal. You’ll be notified if delays occur. During the final week of the blackout period, you can call 800.547.7754 to check the status of the transition.

After the Transition
Once the transfer is complete, you will be able to login to your new account at principal.com or call 800-547-7754 for assistance.
