New Benefit: Save on Commuting with a Pre-Tax Transportation Benefit

We’re excited to introduce a new benefit designed to help you save money on your daily commute – Transportation Management Account (TMA).

Thank you for your patience, partnership, and flexibility as we worked through this important transition together. Getting to Starting February 1, 2026, you’ll be able to use pre-tax dollars to pay for eligible transportation and parking expenses, all managed directly in Paylocity.

What is a TMA?

A Transportation Management Account allows you to set aside pre-tax income to cover qualified commuting expenses, including:

  • Subway and commuter train costs
  • Bus and vanpool expenses
  • Eligible parking costs

Because contributions are made pre-tax, you keep more of your pay while covering everyday commuting expenses.

How it works:

  • Choose a monthly amount based on your commuting needs
  • Contributions are deducted pre-tax from your paycheck
  • Funds roll over month to month if unused
  • Adjust your election at any time throughout the year

Open Enrollment: January 26 – January 30

Enrollment will take place directly in Paylocity, making it easy to sign up and manage your account.

How to enroll in Paylocity:

  1. Log in to Paylocity
  2. Navigate to Benefits
  3. Select Start next to the Open Enrollment window
  4. Enroll in Transit and/or Parking
  5. Review your elections and submit

Please note: Elections will be based on 11 months (24 pay checks) due to 2/1 enrollment start date.

Once enrolled:

  • Contributions will be deducted pre-tax from your paycheck
  • Funds can be used for eligible transit and parking expenses
  • Unused funds roll over month to month
  • You may change your election at any time during the year

The benefit go-live date is February 1, 2026.
